November the 4th: Following the successful start up of both power trains in the summer the project has continued full pace through the holiday period to enter the final phase and is now making preparations for handover and commercial operations.
The completion of the commissioning tests including the TenneT connection requirements have enable both units to have successfully passed the performance tests.The completion of the construction open points are proceeding on schedule to release the project partial acceptance and the reliability runs has in the mean time commenced.
In addition to the completing the physical works the handover of the documentation records and technical data required to operate the plant is ongoing. With the construction activities nearing completion the demobilisation process and reduction of site manpower continues and the transfer to operational teams is well advanced.
