From the lowest elevation of the cooling water inlet to the highest point of the HRSG stack erection the Enecogen Project reaches 87% completion whilst maintaining an excellent safety record. The year ends as it commenced – in winter conditions, between which the project scheduled key milestones have all been achieved and the forecast remains for on time completion.
With the delivery of all heavy equipment the project site is currently reaching peak activity and manning levels. With over 750 personnel currently on site the project recorded 1 million manhours worked on 3rd December.
In the New Year
The offsite interconnecting works to support start up have also progressed successfully. The 380kV cable has been completed and handed over to Enecogen, the transfer to TenneT is in progress. The gas system construction is mechanically complete. This will allow full commissioning activities to commence in the New Year.
Enecogen would like to thank all parties for their tremendous contribution in making this year a success for the project.
